I know it involves washers, but how many, how thick, and what is the procedure exactly. Found only one post in search that vaguely described it with poor sentence structure that I couldn't understand.

Im going to try the cut-bolt idea. My shifter returns great from 5 to N... but not from 2nd. Ive actually missed the 2-3 shift with the Pro 5.0. Not that it wasnt mostly my fault for missing it. But still. Ide like to to snap back to center from either direction. If the cut-bolt mod is the same idea as the washer mod, I like it better because you dont have to hold washers in place while assembling it.

I wish I knew how to figure out he specs of a spring. McMaster Carr has a nice selection of springs. Organized by length and compressive strengths etc etc. I just dont nkow how to figure out which one is "stronger" but the same size. Ide rather do that than use a bolt even.

What kind of grease should be put back into the shifter after the 'degreasing' that everyone talks about???

Pro 5.0 uses this clear, viscous stuff that looks like the Energy Suspensions silicone bushing grease. I'll ask them what it is next time I call/stop in there.

My Pro 5 came with my tranny and I am trying to get some parts. Anyone have the contact info for Pro 5? Can't seem to get any thing from the search engines.
Thanks
