Default RAM BS Flywheel with SPEC 3+ Clutch

Does a RAM billet steel flywheel work with a SPEC 3+ Clutch? I have a RAM HD clutch right now but it's slipping and i wanted to go with SPEC this time but i really don't want to buy another flywheel unles I really have to. the RAM flywheel has 9000 miles on it, I figure just get it turned and I should be OK but the SPEC vendor told me that It will not and also that I will have to get them balanced together?? has any one had this problem before or are they just trying to get me to spend more money?? thanks for the help

I dont see why it wouldn't, I have a ram clutch on a stock flywheel, and you can put a spec on a stock flywheel so they both fit the same. I think that guy may be pullin your leg.

I honestly do not understand why you would, especially with a freash clutch and a flywheel turn.
