Default Washing Rocks Sound...Normal?

My LT1 T56 makes a washing rocks sound at idle. It's pretty erratic, and it goes away when the clutch pedal is pushed in. I recently swapped from an A4, so I'm not sure if this is a normal T56 thing or if I have an issue. The trans was fully rebuilt, it has a new clutch, pilot bearing, throwout bearing.

I get that sound too, it's more prevalent if I'm lazy and put a little pressure on it in fifth gear from my hand on the shifter. I'm pretty sure it's the transmission making the sound as I changed my clutch, pilot bearing, slave and the sound was still there.

Yep...I get the same sound with the clutch engaged (in neutral)...as soon as I push the clutch in, it goes away. I was told the bronze fork pads in mine would make some extra noise...

I replaced my throwout bearing with a new one when I upgraded to the 01/02 slave. I still get the same sound, save for the fact it's only in 5th gear and when I'm coasting and putting pressure on the shifter. Seems like there is a bit of "play" internally to the transmission. If it's under a bit of load then the sound gets real quiet, almost gone, but still faintly heard.

I have that sound in neutral too, my new Textrilla 0z700 only has 400 miles on it so it may still be breaking in but from doing a little searching in it seems to be normal...it just freaked me the hell out, not exactly a cheap clutch.
