hardened output shaft?

Default hardened output shaft?

Does anyone else sell these or was it only six speeds inc? i have been told by a few that they were the only ones selling them, is this true? Thanks

All main shafts are hardend . I am pretty sure you are wanting the after market billet mainshaft .

As for SSI being the only ones that sold it , thats completely false . What application is it for ?

well i dont want to spend the money on the viper output shaft or whatever, and as i said i was told no one makes one beside SSI and it is the output shaft its for the six speed in my trans am. thats what i was told i needed so thats all i know.

SSI never made anything . They sold the same main shaft all the rest of us do from G Force . There are two varieties of it but as far as I know they are only available for the Corvette application . I use to offer a mainshaft fully splined in the 5-6 area but my supplier stopped making them from lack of demand .
