Default Parts list/choices

I have searched a lot, not finding exact answers to my questions.

Just under 80K on stock 98 clutch, it still works fine for me, only slips when you shift into third or fourth at WOT (which I rarely do), but I know its getting weak and I don't want to be stranded. I will be doing headers soon and figured that would be a good time to do the clutch with the exhaust out of the way...

Since I have a 98, what all parts do I need?

Clutch kit
Flywheel (depending on clutch)
slave cylinder
Master cylinder?
Drill mod..

I daily drive the car, it has heads/cam and by the time I am done with mods, I expect 400 rwhp. I never take the car to the track and I don't run drag radials. I just want a reliable, comfortable, daily driver clutch that will have a long life behind my engine.

Don't want to spend a fortune...I'm looking at LS7, Ram HD, and Spec 3.

I know with the LS7, I will need a new flywheel and I should be able to reuse mine with the Ram, so that makes the Ram cheaper. I have read a lot of bad feedback on the Spec...

Let me hear your advice

if your not gonna track it ls7 should be exactly what you need. i wouldnt even cosinder re-using your stock flywheel . if you go spec or ram id get the whole balanced setup. most spec issues are do to improper instal and or break-in. if you slip it alot on the street then do not get a spec thye like to be slipped quick/dumped or they will wear extremely fast like any performance clutch
ls7 will be lighter pedal than stock and drive like it does now and last the longest if your beating it

Yea thats the impression I got from searching. I was really considering the RAM HD as well, but it seems like I may hate it in stop and go houston traffic.

I know I need the new slave cylinder, but can I reuse my master cylinder?

How hard is the clutch to change with longtubes installed?

if you familar with cars plan on 3-5hrs its not to bad to be honest. headers really dont make a difference as long as the ypipe comes off

you can but i would atleast take it out and do the drill mod to it . the slave is the most important of the two
