Default What's the difference?

How much of a difference is there between an aftermarket shifter with a short stick vs. stock?

Night and Day. My car had the Hurst short throw from the factory and I still upgraded it to an aftermarket shifter.

I guess I'll just have to get one then. And how much shorter are the short sticks than the stock ones? Also, do you guys know if my shifter could be the noise I'm hearing under my shifter? I don't know if it's that or something else under the car. Thanks
