Default No Clutch Pressure!

ok so i have been doing some work on my car trans swap, headers...........last night at about 3 am i finally am ready to bleed the clutch and start the car. (i have the bleeder extension thanks to Steve-D) me and my friend are bleeding the clutch. i was in the car and the pedal would stick to the floor everytime and had absolutely no pressure. i asked him if fluid was coming out and he said that there was. i have a 01' 02' master and i just put in a new slave. however when i was thinking of what it could be i remembered that i had forgotten to bench bleed the master again since i was off he car for about a week. could that even be the problem? or did i do something wrong when i installed the slave? thanks for any help -dave-

i had the same prob when i did the my a4 to m6 swap, u probably need to bench bleed ur master, then prefill ur slave with fluid, it should already be prefilled when u buy it from the dealer, but i just bought new master and slave and bleeded the slave for any little air bubbles then vuala it worked

i dont want to pull my trans again! hopefully if i bench bleed the master and find my mightey vac and just bleed the crap out of it it will be good to go. do you know if i can bench bleed the master with it still in the car? like if i just disconnect it from the slave?

You have to pull the master to bench bleed it. It needs to be kinda level so that air doesn't get trapped up high. I think...

If you can't find your mightyvac - let me know, I'm in the NW burbs also and I've got one...
