going from auto to stick...
hey guys im going from an auto 3.8 to a manual trans and LS1. im swapping them and i need to know if i have to cut a hole in the floorboard for the shifter of the t56. pics would be a great help, ive got the auto shifter out of the way already. also... can i use the stock torque arm off my 3.8? i know ill need the t56 brackets, but if i can reuse the tq arm for now that would be great. and last but not least, can i use the driveshaft that came out? its a 1 piece steel shaft. i test fitted it with my t56 trans and it is perfect but im just worried about the overall length of the shaft once its installed. thanks guys!

whats up syxx613 i've got a ws6 A4 and im going M6 you can use the same driveshaft, but you will need a torque arm mount for the t56, not the whole torque arm but just the mount... good luck with your setup, i know im excited as hell!!
