When my cars idling in neutral my transmission sounds like a can of marbles rattling around, and it only goes away when I rev it up past 1500-2k, or push in the clutch pedal so the clutch is completly disengaged. Is this normal? It shifts smooth and everything, and I've been beating the hell out of it for the last 2-3 years and it's been holding it fine, but its VERY annoying. You can hear it over my true duals so its pretty loud....

My shifter had Parkinsons. It has real bad tremors when idling. I don't know if my cam is causing this problem but I think I need to go to the doctor to have him give my shifter a thurough exam so I can go to CVS to get a prescription filled out that will control the tremors.

I think the reason that the tranny rattles badly in neutral is because the bearing that the input shaft rides on is slightly worn. When the clutch pedal is in, the input shaft is not moving and the bearing is not beaing used.
When the clutch pedal is off the floor, the input shaft bearing is being used and since it is worn, causes more vibrations than if it were new.
BTW mine does the EXACT same thing!

Mine does the same, but it's not that loud - you have to listen for it but it's there. I drove around without the center console out for a couple of days after upgrading the hydraulics, and you can here it when the trans is exposed right under you for sure.

The sonofabitch rattles like about ten marbles are loose in mine too. Is starting to scare me, and I can hear the noise while driving.
It did it before and after new clutch, and worse after.
