Default problem with hurst shifter

i recently swapped shifters for a new hurst billet plus shifter.

i installed everything fine, but i'm getting some unusual rattling

when the car is idling and kept below 4500rpm, the hurst acts like stock.
but when i am WOT and 5k and over it has this really deep rattling coming from something either internal on the shifter or from the top of the tranny.

anyone ever have problems like this or know what might be causing it?

I have the billet plus also and have the rattling. Never really thought about it until now. I heard that a lot of the after market shifters make some noise so I always thought it was normal.
