Still grinding going into 3rd
Hey I'm still very much a newb when it comes to LS1 cars, but I have read how much the drill mod it helps shifting into 3rd while at WOT. My car is a 2000 SS 6spd and my friend and I did the drill mod this weekend. I followed the instructions from this link.

It's a great write up but I didn't put in a new master I used the stock one, and we made sure to drill out the restrictor completely the only hard time we had was bleeding all the air out once it was put back in. Finally we got the clutch feeling nice and stiff, but under WOT it still tends to grind going into 3rd. Under normal driving 3rd gear is fine, and all the other gears engage very nice. I've been driving the car for a bit now and I don't think that's my driving could it be possible that we didn't bleed it correctly even though the clutch feels really good and firm? Or could my problem be elsewhere? Any advice comments, or information is greatly appreciated thanks in advance guys.
