Default Spec 4 or Spec 3+

I got a slipping spec stage 3 right now with about 20,000 on it. I liked it alot so now I'm choose between these 2. If the spec 4 is like the spec 3 in drivability, then I would get it. I thought my spec 3 was totally drivable. whats your opinions?

the 4 has the solid clutch disk...it grabs pretty hard. in traffic it gets touchy.

that 3+ looks liek a better bet.

I would agree...the stage 4 is going to be a bit more on an off that the 3 because it uses a rigid disc. If you want smooth and strong then a 3+ is the way to go. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,

good choice just make sure you install it right. I had problems that was traced back to the install. SPEC told me to do one thing and it actually needed something else.

April, I don't think that anyone here would have simply said break it lose and put it back in. As a side note, clutches don't just randomly decide to weld themselves to a flywheel for no reason. Heat is generally the culprit, more specifically heat on a clutch that has not been fully broken in. If you would like to send some of your pics to me for assessment I will be more than happy to take a look. I can be emailed at Jeremy@specclutch.com. Thanks,
