Default crazy noises from the transmission?

i'm gettin a loud grinding/vibration noise from the front of the transmission. it won't do it with the clutch let out, but if you push the clutch in and rev to about 3k while driving down the road, it makes the noise. i've also noticed that when i'm moving forward in traffic and i push the clutch in with a little load on the car, it does it until it "spins down". the fact that it slows down with engine speed and stops tells me it's something in there either spinning or connecting to something spinning (slave bolts loose maybe?) it'll do it from time to time when shifting too. i'm completely lost on this too. the entire clutch assembly is new (flywheel, disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bushing). i just changed the master cylinder this past weekend and did the drill mod. it seems to fix the problem for a while, but it's back to how it was before the install. i really need some help on this one guys. i'm afraid it's gonna tear something up if it keeps on like it is.

thanks,
bill

Sounds like clutch noise. If it was me I would check the flywheel bolts, pressure plate bolts and throwout bearing. The tranny would make noise under load not with the clutch pushed in. That is more likely a clutch or hydraulic noise. What clutch are you using?

I think it is the slave cylinder bearing. Did you change the slave?

slave cylinder bearing? are you talking about the throw out bearing? if so, yes, we changed that out, but not the slave. it was changed during the last clutch swap. however, the guy i had do it reused my old flywheel, resurfaced it, but never rebalanced it, so i had a nasty vibration for about a year. i guess something could've been shaken loose.
