Default ls7 clutch

how much power can the ls7 clutch handle? will it handle a full bolt on, cam ls1?

it will hold 550hp, so yes it will, i have it in my car, i have beat on it a little but not alot, but no complaints at all, install went smooth and everything has worked flawlessly, i recommend it for your application

Don't put sticky tires on it. Drag radials at best but you may still encouter problems. Street tires are fine. Make sure your hydraulics are up to par.

Drag Radials may work. Some people have had luck with them because they'd spin the tires first, rather than the tires sticking and the clutch taking the load. Either way you have to be careful with it. If you spin the tires the clutch will be ok but what's the point of that if you're not going anywhere.

True. I think im gonna try it out if it will handle enough horsepower. I heard it will though. Any input appreciated.
