ohh and when you bleed the clutch using the bleeder on the slave, how do you keep fluid from dripping down on the clutch? will it miss the clutch when it drips or do i need to have rags all crammed around it.

IIRC it drips into the bell-housing and exits through a hole cast for that purpose. It will be fine. (Just what I read)

It wont drip on the clutch, it goes down and out a hole. trust me on that i have done it and had the same worry. It was just fine.

Bleed it some more first. Pump and hold the pedal down, crack bleeder, close bleeder then release pedal and repeat. It takes a while to get it done. if after 30 bleed cycles it wont hold pressure than something may be broken.

Stupid mity vacs.

You just didnt bleed it enough when you did it manually.

I bench bled the master. Popped open the plunger on the bottom of the line that goes into the slave and looped it into the res. Then, just pumped the master, just recycles the fluid, and it's good to go. Then bleed the slave like brad8266 stated.

Did that a couple of times and was good to go.
