Default Hard Gears

I have a 99 z28 6spd with 80xxx on it. Its got a hurst shifter, aluminum intake manifold, intake and exhaust and my gears are some times hard to get into. i rarely have trouble when im driving but when i put it in first or reverse at stop its some what hard. sometimes i have to pump the clutch a few times or move the shifter back and forth. i read that the slave cylinder some times does that in my year z28's but i wasnt sure. if any one has any ideas i would appreciate your advice thanks.

I would look at the master cylinder first.
You may have an issue there. check the boot where the master rod connects to the pedal inside the car. If the master is leaking/ seaping you will usually get a little fluid here or a spongy fluid soaked boot.
Then it is master replacement time.
Alot of times a fluid flush/bleed will get it by as well. It depends on what your situation is w/ the hydraulics is.
