are you talking about the spacer that goes behind the slave cyl? I am wondering if a spacer is necessary with this clutch or not....i was told it wasnt, but i am having probs getting this clutch to disengage and am wondering if a spacer should be used.
I know the spacers that go behind the slave come in clutch kits from RAM, you may be able to call them and get the spacer by itself

would this spacer be needed if the clutch engages to low in the pedal or what is it really for? i have the clutch/pp setup and my clutch engages way low on the pedal. often when i shift into 4th gear it will pop out of gear sometimes. would this be a result of the clutch engaging too close to the floor? sorry dont mean to hijack the thread but thought it might give insight to u also.

you don't need one. First after installing it, it will disengage right off the floor. After the initial break-in it will move up. Mine engages/disengages half-way up pedal travel. Just make sure that you put a new slave and upgrade the master to the 01+ master if you haven't already

the 01+ is adjustable. How far off the floor is it engaging? Did you replace the slave when you did the clutch? Have you tried bleeding it again? Does it engage low all the time or after a wot run?

I was one of the early adopters and I chose to throw in a Spec slave shim before I even got out of the shop's parking lot. Couldn't get the shifter into gear unless engine was turned off. Brand new master, slave, to bearing, LS7 PP, LS7 disc, & Fidanza flywheel. I wasn't going to risk damaging my tranny during the break-in period. To those of you who didn't need it, great. Maybe it was a bleeding issue, but shops (specifically a sponsor) tend to get irate when you tell them they don't know how to bleed the clutch hydraulics.
How is the 01+ OEM master adjustable?

I used all brand new GM hydros and made my own 1/8" spacer when I had my Centerforce. New GM Hydros with the same spacer when I installed the LS& clutch and it works flawlessly. My .02
