Default Circuit questions

Ok, I just got my car, and I am already getting codes for my transmission. The codes I get say 3-2 control solenoid circuit and skip shift circuit. Just curious what these mean and how bad they could be.

I'm an A4 obdii guy - is the code 84? Thinking the 3-2 shift is for auto only? The skip shift might be because someone put a resistor in for !CAGS and it's come loose. Just a guess....

SES does not come on when you do the resistor mod.

Check your ENG SENS fuse that is in the fuseblock under the hood.

and which fuse might that be? do not have a diagram for the fuse box/boxes. I do not have the owners manual and do not know which fuses are which. And yes the 3-2 is for the auto. I was going by what the scanner read so that one is null and void.
