Default Just had Ls7 clutch installed!

Just had it installed yesterday along with slave and master, runs great. Shifter is still a little notchy but i think that is the tranny. I'll let you know how it goes from here on out. Does anyone know the proper breakin length for a new Ls7 clutch?

There is also no chatter to speak of. I think the shop that did the install (Precision Auto, Dayton Ohio) did an awesome job. any more ideas on breakin mileage? i'll keep eveyone posted.

p.s. i did some hard 1-2-3 shifts, new hydraulics work great.

Most people say 500 or so miles in stop and go traffic...I helped a guy install one when I lived in Florida, and we went out that night and ripped the **** out of it (powershifting on a Heads/Cam car), and it held up great.

I have about 100 miles, if that, on mine right now. Got on it in 1, 2, and 3, but only 5K rpm. Never missed a beat. I'll be glad when I can finally let 'er rip. Its been so long since I could shift into another gear at WOT. But it did feel good
