Default Ram clutch install problems

This is my first ever clutch install so maybe I am doing something wrong. I ordered the Ram HD Powergrip clutch kit from SDPC. They have fantastic customer service and super fast shipping. But on to my problem. The original pressure plate has a couple holes next to the bolt holes on it so it will align to the flywheel alignment dowels. The pressure plate I recieved from SDPC does not have these holes and I turned it to every hole I can on the Ram pressure plate to try to get them to line up and it just wont. Check my pictures below to understand more clearly what my issue is.

Here is a picture of the alignment dowel on the flywheel.

New ram pressure plate with no dowel alignment holes.

I thought about grinding the dowels off but then I did not want to take any chances on messing up my flywheel.

I just got off the phone with RAM to verify, and they said you just use the factory bolts with NO dowel pins. Don't grind them off, you should be able to pull them out (may need some WD40, PBBlaster, DeepCreap, etc). Hope that helps James! Let me know if I can help with anything else!

Thanks a lot for looking into this for me. I thought that they probably had to be removed but I was uncertain. I was second guessing myself because I was looking at some other ram clutch kits that had the alignment dowel holes on the pressure plate.

Your customer service is unmatched with anyone else I have dealt with so far.
Thanks again.
