Default I found the cause of my leak...

Investigating where the 1/2 qt a day leak was coming from, I was under my car yesterday and found this at the tailshaft: (pics, suck)

you can kinda see the hole in the crease:

blurry, the piece is on the side of the housing:

Now I need to oder a tailshaft housing and replace mine. This will be fun....NOT.

There's a hole and a hairline crack that goes down the joint. You can't see the crack in those pictures. I guess I could try JBWeld and see if it stops the leak. I'd just feel more comfortable replacing the housing I guess.

Well the crack could start getting bigger so you might as well replace it. For a quick fix you cant go wrong with JB weld. Put alot on there just to stop the leak for a while untill you get your new tailshaft. Sounds fun lol.
