Wanted to cut more, but my shifter ball needed a jamb nut under it.

does anyone know what size the shifter is?I took my **** into Home Depot and Ace to find a couple of nuts to put on so i have a something to help keep the cut straight and they were pretty much special ed on the whole situation.

You probably wont find nuts to fit..

not positive...but metric 16mm x 1.5 comes to mind.

Its not hard to cut straight...but it would be nice to have a nut below your cut, so you can back the nut off and de-burr the cut end some.

yea Its 16mm by 1.5 couldnt find any nuts I just used the stopper nut from my shifter ****.Thanks for all of your input i dont have alot of tools or a vice grip for that matter so I wanted to make one cut.haha I had to hold it in one hand and hardcore it with a hacksaw with the other. I ended up taking off 1 1/8inch.I ended up picking the exact thread to cut so when I put my ball on it bottoms out EXACTLY where it needs to be to be lined up.I couldnt believe it.It makes a night and day diff.It seems now i'm shifting quick enough to get wheel hop instead of a chirp.Feels GREAT!!!
thanks again
Cody
