Default How to hold flywheel during removal/installation

How are you guys holding your flywheels to keep them from turning during removal and installation? The Kent Moore tool?

I just turned the ratchet to the right angle relative to the flywheel so that when pressure was applied it didnt turn the flywheel. Just turn the ratchet at an angle that wont have the force of the ratchet inline with turning the flywheel.

Or just put a socket on the crank bolt, 24 mil i believe and hold it that way, lol

run a bolt in the block and then get a flat head screw driver to hold it! works great and you can normally wedge it in there on the exhaust or something so you can do it by yourself.

You should be able to get a regular box-end wrench on the bolt and give the wrench one good rap with a steel hammer and the bolt should break loose, if you do not have access to an impact wrench.

Probably not the recommended method, but jam a screwdriver between the flywheel and the starter.

I used an impact to get it off, then a screwdriver to hold it in place during installation

Part number? (I work alone too most of the time and don't want to be dependent on someone helping me)
