Default Getting t-56 rebuilt by Hanlon, what have I missed...

I am having my tranny rebuilt after it decided to go south cruising at 65 mph...(Dealer rebuild)

Bob is gonna be installing billet splider keys, carbon synchros, steel 3-4 fork, and a viper output shaft for future power upgrades....

Have I missed anything? Tranny is an 02 t-56.

Yes, do not put just stock replacement fork pads on there. They can wear out quickly after a bit of abuse. Bronze pads will not.

Popped out of 5th. Wouldn't go back into any gear easily. Had to rpm shift it into 4th and it grinded a little, then tried 5th again. Went in, but wouldn't come out till i got home. when I got it out, it wouldnt go over to the 5th a and 6th section of the pattern, nor would it go into the 1-2 section. Even in the neutral position, it wasn't in neutral. Just a mess.

Yikes, I think I just broke a key. Still going to cost 600 bucks for me to rebuild it, I just dont need to go as in depth.

I have not recieved a quote yet. Don't want to get into the pricing as I don't think he is a sponsor here.

Got an update on what happened. He thinks the main culprit is the slider gear for 5th/6th malfunctioned and binded to the cluster, also the snap keys broke, also the hex bolt that runs down to hold the forks in place burnt itself up, which happens with vipers but this is the first he saw of this. Some plastic collar things melted, and now it has a metal one.

New parts list includes a 5th/6th cluster, new carbon blocker rings and some other stuff i cant remeber.

Sorry my t56 tranny vocab sucks.
