What clutch do I need!?
Hey everyone. I have a clutch question. I just put a large cam in my car and took it to the track wednesday nite. ...I need a new clutch now. It wouldnt even launch at 3300 rpm, It would just hang and not do anything. What clutch would be good for about 400-500hp? I dont really want to spend more than 500-600. I see that spec is a cheap clutch... but everyone seems to have problems with them. ...lol hence the Cheap*
What would be my best bang for the buck? My car still drives around town ok, but I just need something that I can get a way better 60' out of. Also If I buy used... what should I look for? Will a ls7/ls2 clutch work ok? will I need a new flywheel?
thanks guys!

I would go with an LS7 clutch/LS2 Flywheel combo. They are designed to work together, and will hold 400-500HP at the flywheel no problem.
The LS7 clutch kit retains the factory pedal feel and has excellent durability/reliability, since it has to pass GM's standards to be used in the Z06. So it should hold the power reliably and have a long life as well.
