the Zoom D2 Series Twin Disc Clutch Kits
any one tryed the new Zoom D2 Series Twin Disc Clutch Kits... they are a 8.75 twin disk and was wondering if it bieng 8.75 insted of the factory size if it will rev faster or will it be about the same...and anyother infomation that you have... thanks in advance...mark

Why would it rev faster ?
The clutch disc itself, is only 1 item in an entire clutch/flywheel assembly, and will have virtually no impact on how the engine revs.
Clutch discs may affect how the box shifts, due to the rotational inertia on the input shaft though.
perhaps if the entire clutch assembly has less mass on the outer extremes of the flywheel etc, it may have a small effect on how the engine "revs", either way it will be very small, almost negligable IMO.

Just a video of the D2 being beat to crap! =)
Mike Peters is a professional drifter and his weapon of choice may appear to be a Nissan 240, but it packs a LS Magnacharged power plant that we thought would be a great test bed for a Zoom D2 twin disc clutch set up.
Now for those that have not had seat time in a drift car you should know that 'clutch kicking' is one of three techniques of initiating a drift. You'll see Mike doing so... at over 6000RPM in this video link!
PS. He installed this Twin Disc over a year ago and is still running it today!
