question about pro 5.0 how come my 1st gear looks like its at 3rd..like everything shifted to the right pretty badly..? anyone have this? only 1 way to install shifter.. i used the ws6 short stick with it. but it cant be that

I went through two short stick b/c of the this. I ditvhed the stock stock the 5.0 came with and picked up a ls1speed short stock with an angle put into it. My first straight stick looked liked that.

I have been using the stock stick that came with mine [short sticks look cool but slow down your shifts] and I don't think I ever felt like it was in the wrong place. but then again it is angled to the left.

I 100% agree with Wrencher. I tried using the WS6store short stick with my Pro 5.0 but I hated it. It looked completely off and made shifting tough due to placement of the gears. My reverse rubbed the console as well. So I cut over an inch off the threads on the stock 5.0 stick and put that on.. I love it.
