Noise coming from rear of my C5 There is a noise coming from the rear of my '99 C5 FRC. It's kind of hard to explain how it sounds but it's making a whining noise. The noise gets louder as you increase speed. I figured the problem was the rear end gears so I had the rear end re-built and had 3.90s gears put in also. I was certain re-building the rear end would solve the noise problem but I was wrong. Got the car back today and the whining noise is still there so it must be coming from somewhere in the transmission. Anyone know what's wrong?

before you start throwing some more parts at it try to get some more detail on what it can be like does it do it in neutral all gears and neutral stuff like that. and come back and we will try and figur this out. and get you going right.
