Default spinning slave bolt

I put my slave back in and the top bolt will tighten but the bottom will not anymore. It will just spin and spin and spin some more but will farely tighten down. Since it wasn't going anywhere and both bolts were all the way in i just put it all back together. How do I get the bottom one to hold tq

It is stripped. You need to buy a helicoil kit. You have to buy the correct size, drill it to the correct diameter and spin the coil in. After that it will hold torque. Make sure you only tighten bolts to the torque spec to keep from stripping them out in the future. You can find torque specs in the search. Alot of things on these cars are aluminum, which is soft, so it strips easily.

I wish I could just randomly think about when I am going to drop the tranny on my car. Unfortunately mine is a DD and I don't have a lift!

Well, at least I became more efficient due to the redundancy! Been there, done that!

3 ton jack stands
take shifter off
torque arm
drive shaft
support tranny
take of 4 bolt holding tranny support
unhook everything
take off 15mm bolts connecting tranny to bellhousing
pull the bitch out

35 minutes

I think Ive done it 3 times in 1 day before just tranny and 4 of the bolts to the bellhousing thats all, not the whole thing
