clutch bolts! HELP ASAP!

Default clutch bolts! HELP ASAP!

im pullin the clutch as we speak. but how do i get the bolts off the pressure plate that connects to flywheel? the damn thing keeps turnin and i dont know how to secure it so it wont move so i can loosen the bolts. thanks!

Either use another socket on opposing side or wedge something in the in it teeth against the starter.

I used needle nose pliers, Just open them up and slide them in where the starter motor is. It will catch on the flywheel teeth.

But a flywheel turning tool to hold the flywheel, anything else puts other expensive components (starter) at risk. This tool is made for exactly what you are doing and it will also help when you need to rotate the assembly.

My buddy and I had to team up on this. I held the front crank bolt with a socket and breaker bar while he unbolted the pressure plate and flywheel bolts. And vice versa for torquing the new parts back on.
