Weird grind in 1,2,3

Weird grind in 1,2,3 2nd ls1 but i know my first one didnt do this. While in first second or third gear, it sounds like under the shifter there are some bad bearings spinning/grinding. While in a gear if you put extra pressure on the shifter as if to push it past the gear it grinds a little worse. Wifey thinks it sounds like its open underneigth and it sounds like air is making a sound. I dont have any problems getting it into gear and it doesnt pop out. Before I purchased car, new clutch and new syncro kit was put in. Any ideas on what this "not-normal" sound could be?

Sounds like its getting slightly worse, when motor is warm it is louder. 1-2 shift is when It makes the most noise. nothing really grinds but it sounds like some bearings are spinning and it doesnt sound normal.... any ideas? ttt

If it is a noise you can change by applying slight pressure to the shifter it has to be in the trans.
That sucks but it seems as though you'll need to tear into it to find your problem

Its under warranty so I'll have them rip into it. What sucks is my friend owns the dealership I bought it at, and his mechanic says there is nothing wrong with it.
