Thanks man,
I am up in the air on this clutch thing. I wanna do it quick and I wanna do it right.
I never even considered the LS7 until reading some clutch threads "I really wish the search feature worked".
All in all, I think the LS7 would fail in a year or so with track racing BUT I could be wrong on that. Since the LS7 has been around for quite some time now, I was thinking someone had to break one by now.

Plenty of C6Z06 owners have been forced to replace the LS7 clutch.
If the car is launched, the LS7 clutch sucks. On the C6Z launch rpm can be no higher than 3600 or so, and the pedal release must be lightning fast because it will glaze with slight intentional slip at >2500.
It seems fine, however, if the car is never launched.

I've had mine in for over 25,000 miles now. It holds really well if you dump and go..not so well if you have to slip it off the line. Mine holds up to 3500 rpm clutch dumps with 423 rwhp. I haven't really figured out if it's holding the nitrous at the track yet.....but it holds it on the street pretty well. I don't think I'll go back to this clutch after it's done though. I'll probably go to a Tex or something like that. Oh 588 rwhp on spray by the way. I've been through a bottle in one night and never had a problem with the clutch. It held up more than my 10 bolt did.

My LS6 clutches handled 4000-5200 rpm launches without a whimper or complaint, including 4 hot-laps at 4 minute intervals at 5200. A stout clutch.
LS7 pales in comparison. The C6Z owners that launch hate this clutch.

I don't think mine will last long with the 150 shot on the H/C/I. But when it does go it will give me the excuse to go TH400
