im looking for some strong T56s for my setup. i have a 02 silverado RCSB with a nicely built 408, yada yada yada. i just gernaded my Liberty proshifted t56 today. im looking at a few right now but hard to decide. one trans is the viper spec'd T56, looked at T56rebuilds and also looked at Gforce. i know Gforce makes great products but is out of question. take in account that my truck weighs in around 4700lbs and i also will be spraying a large shot in the future. i would like a trans that can hold around 800hp or so, anyone got any recomendations. a stock or near stock trans wont survive

well the strongest wouldnt actually be a t56, it would be a M12 or a TR6060 (the new viper trans)

but if u stick with a t56, isnt liberty the strongest?

Yeah, at this point I would say thats your only option. Simply becasue of the weight of the truck.

Also, supposedly the Rockland Standard Gear "Tranzilla" is capable of holding "up to" 1200 flywheel hp, but I've NEVER heard of anyone's experience with one of these, so who knows?? In any case it is an EXORBITANT amount of $$$$$$$!!

the viper spec'd is a nice piece, I have had no issues with mine such the upgrade.

I'am running a rockland standard gear t56 tranny for over 2 years now with no problems .

I have the strongest T56 available besides the G-FORCE, it has 9310 gears all the goodies, and is faceplated. I have mine for sale actually, will be available in about 2 weeks.
