Default High rpm shifts

I just put a trex cam in my car i had a g5x2 in before and was shifting around 6500 and now im shifting around 7000 and the tranny will not go into gear at all. and not just one gear all of them(note i am talking wide open shifts). With the x2 the tranny shifted perfect and now it poo poo. My question is has anyone else had problems with high rpm shifts?

It might be your slave and master cylinder holding you back. Have you done the drill mod?

Check your fluid to see if it is burned up? I had this problem and I bled the clutch and it has worked great since.

All good suggestions here.
Drill mod & fluid condition are important.
I know a adjustable master had helped me get the little extra out of the hydraulic clutch system.
I run a McLeod, but also bleed/flush the fluid often.

I've noticed my tranny being a little resistant to shifting at high RPM since I installed the MS4. Guess it's time for a flush/bleed and the drill mod.

Immediately after installing my heads/cam, my car wouldnt shift for **** at high rpm. I installed a McLeod adj master cylinder and all has been well since. The stocker did have about 43k on it though.

Before you lay down the green for the new master, I would try flushing the fluid, wrapping the steel braided line with some rubber hose, and make sure you have the drill mod done as well.

How old is your master and slave?

FWIW, I use Valvoline Synpower hydraulic/brake fluid, and it's still clean and clear with about 10k on it.

I already got an adj master on the car and the drill mod. Havent checked the fluid in awhile but going to check it now. But the fluid would not cause an immediate change in the shifts just because i changed the cam would it? The tranny shifted perfect before the cam swap.

I have issues start with the clutch pedal & it's releasing point/feel.
A fluid flush usually always takes care of it. so I will say yes the fluid condition is important.
Specially when the car is pushed that hard for 7K shifts.
