Default Need Help, Hard to shift into reverse after dropping engine/trans

I threw a rod and had to have my engine rebuilt. I just got the car back and for some reason now its extremely hard to shift into Reverse on my M6. Its so stiff it takes two hands to shift it! The only thing I can think of that could cause this is I had poly motor and trans mounts put on while the engine/trans was down. The speed shop that did the work is telling that it is "normal."

Anyone else have this problem or know what I can do to soften the shift into R? All other gears seem completely normal...

Any codes? Something easy to check is the ENG SEN fuse, it controls the reverse lockout solenoid - or maybe it's the solenoid itself.

Well, its throwing a code that is telling me the MAF is bad. But I think that is because the MAF is bad I checked the fuses and they all look fine.

It's possible the clutch isn't fully disengaging.

They may have forgotten to plug in the reverse lockout solenoid. That, I would think, is the most likely explaination.

Not just check the plug on the solenoid but check to see that they did not swap the skip shift and reverse solenoid plug. They should be color-coded so be sure the plug color matches the solenoid connector color.

I'd double check the ENG SEN fuse - the MAF and reverse lockout are on the same circuit, along with the 02s.
