My trans doesnt like third gear anymore....When I put it in third it doesnt grind until I start to let off the clutch or if I leave it in third for more than 1 second...it grinds and spits it out of third.......

It happend after making a pass at the track.....I was told maybe its a shift fork??? What kind of action needs to be taken to fix it?....

Trans need to come out & basically rebuilt
The 3/4 fork will have to be updated to a steel one etc.
+ Everything has to be inspected once the trans is tore down.

^^^+1 on that. Check with Sixspeedsinc or T56rebuilds on here... they are both sponsors and should give you a pretty good deal on rebuilding it.

same thing happened to me...trans is in the process of being torn out. Be sure to get a steel 3/4 shift fork when you do it.
