How to tell if used transmission is good? I just got a used T56 transmission which claimed to have low mileage.
Is there anyway to tell roughly what kind of condition it's in without cracking the case open?
Somebody told me that if you spin the input shaft that you shouldn't really hear anything. that if you hear any kind of noise that the bearings are shot, or something. How true is this?
