Help, tranny " CLUNK"
My 02 ws6 "clunks" .WHile setting in neutral, I press the clutch, place in first gear and it "clunks." With the clutch still depressed and not moving. It does this every now and then. If speed shifting, it "clunks"while shift into the next gear. It sounds like a bad mount, but I too kit out and its fine. Its the original, it has 25K on it. BTW, my car is a 383 stroker and makes 492 rwhp. It also has a n aftermarket torque arm, I check those bolts and everthing looked good. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Exhaust is good. Plenty of distance. The motor mounts look good. I have not really looked that hard.@ idle, the engine dances back and forth and the exhaust tips shake side to side. But I figure that normal with a larger cam. WHat do yuo think? Thanks for the help.

you mean, grad by the header pipe down by the collector? Correct? Thanks, I'll try that. It still has the factory OEM mounts and the car makes 492 rwhp. Any idea on what mounts to try? Thanks.
