Default Clutch Pedal to FLoor under boost

I was going down the track the other day and when I did my burnout, the clutch stuck to the floor....You can pull it up and pump it and it will work fine again until I got to the end of the track...

I am running 10 lbs of boost....It seems that the pedal gets sucked towards the floor when boost hits then I can't shift to the next gear.

I just completely bled the clutch fluid and rebled the system and still no change.

Does this sound like a pressure plate issue, clutch issue, or a slave or master cylinder..

Oh yeah...I'm running an LS7 clutch and a Mcleod master cylinder.

Clutch is not slipping

How high did you rev during the burnout?

My pedal would stay on the floor. I'm pretty sure the fingers of the pressure plate would flatten out at high rpm.

I had the same thing happen to me and it got fixed when i replaced the clutch and slave. I'm pretty sure that it was the slave because it would not hold any pressure and started leaking after a while.

This is the most common question in this forum. 3 out of five stickys cover it, one call "Clutch Pedal sticking to floor." Multiple threads first 3 pages cover it. Even if search is broken, at least look on the front page.

In that order of fixing/replacement: flush, bleed, drill mod, master, slave, clutch. Also, I would consider line lock. Clutch manufactures have on this board reccomended line lock for high powered cars.

If you have a LS1 year T56, a little air or a little grime can cause this problem under hard, high RPM shifts. I've read the GM document admitting this. It's in one of the stickys, I think.

i've read all the stickies.....but thanks

I'm leaning towards more of a pressure plate problem as I have bleed, drill modded, have a built t-56 and am using a mcleod master and the slave isn't that old.
