Clutch engagement issues Current set up:
Motor trans from same car 2000 SS (Currently installed in a different vehicle.)
McLeod modular bellhousing with motor plate (New)
LS6 clutch assembly (New)
Wilwood Clutch Master .75 bore
Factory slave unit
When assembling the trans unit, you can watch the fingers on the pressure plate get pushed in. The clutch is not being allowed to fully engage. Is there an adjustable slave?

Is there anyway to space the bellhousing? Is it a T56? Do you have the original bellhousing available? I don't believe there are any adjustable slaves, but there are adjustable master cylinders, and there's even a free mod to make a GM master adjustable.

Trans is a T56. I have a original bellhousing, but can not use it as it's a SCCA race car. I remember reading there was a smaller (length) slave but can't find any info on it.

With the problem you're having, I'd be worried about not having enough travel in the slave if you did get adjustable hydraulics. These T56's are touchy enough as it is. I'd look into spacing the bellhousing, increasing the distance between the face of the tranny and the PP. Stock bellhousings tend to have the opposite problem, so a fix for your problem may be very hard to find. Good luck.
