Default bump stops

ok three compains i have talk to said on the ls1 f-body with the t56, that i don't need the bump stomps on the shifters, like a ripper or hurst or pro 5.0. they say it is built in.

is this true?

and they were big compains that told me this. i called three cuase i didn't belive them.

please help

The lil screws that you put in the shifter? I was told I didn't need them either...

The factory shifter does not have bump stops in them i believe. so no you do not need them but when your ramming gears as hard as i have done you do think about it its a good idea i've hit my stops in 3rd alot. but i know its in gear
