breaking point of stock input/ output shaft?

Default breaking point of stock input/ output shaft?

what kind of abuse can they take? are they going to be strong enough for a 10 second car on a slick? if more info is needed let me know and ill provide what i can.

It should be fine with your set up. When we did my clutch the input shaft was almost non existent, we had to order a new one. Just take a good look at your stocker and see what it looks like now.

6speed inc has some if need be.

I have failed a 27 spline f-body output at 520whp. I went 10.11 at 134 at the time of the failures. I did not break the output, but I did twist it .100. I also had 200 passes launching on 28/10.5. I have seen the input twist at 700whp, but that was with alot of passes on it. It is reasonable to say that a t56 is capible of lots of 10 sec passes. The viper output adds piece of mind. I have not seen a viper ouput fail at 1400whp.

Mine did not break it twisted. Due to the fact that we inspect the internals of my race car tranny we discovered it before it broke.

do u need a diffrent driveshaft with the viper shaft?

Yes , you will need a 31 spline yoke .

No, not nessecarly, some people do decide to upgrade at the same time thought. We do supply the proper yoke.
