Default knocking sound, wtf

During 1st gear hard accelaration, I hear a continuos knocking sound under the center console. Happens a little in 2nd. I had a past problem with the stock torque arm mounting bolt to the tranny that came off. That caused a horrible knocking sound so I had it towed home and replaced the bolt. This was months ago, could I have damaged the tranny, driveshafts, ?. Just installed my h/c/i so I don't want to damge anythibg further. Recently ordered a new adj tq arm and relo bracket before the knocking. Will this help. Any input would be appreciated cause I have no clue when it comes to tranny's and susp. By the way the car still runs very hard, just a concerning knock.

I would get under there & check & make sure everything's OK.
Check the trans mount close as well. It might be going bad.

U-Joints. The torque arm controls the pinion angle, so if the torque arm came off your angle was all kinds of fudged up. Driving like that on an old ujoint probably wore it out. For 30$ for both, its something to ry.

Do you have an aftermarket shifter and stock trans/motor mounts? My after market shifter would lift and vibrate against my center console until i replaced all the mounts (i just picked it up yesterday from synergy!). you can check by removing the console. if the sound goes away, then that's the problem.
