Default Mcleod dual clutch..Flywheel won't fit over crank

This is on a 95 Z25 with the LT1. All the bolt holes will line up but the flywheel just won't slide on the back of the crank. It's like the center hole in the flywheel is just a tad too small. It will start to go over the hub but just won't go. Anybody ever heard of this?

I've never heard of this. Could this clutch be for something else?

well I wouldn't think so since the bolt holes all line up. You can barely get it on far enough to even get the bolts started.

might have a small burr

I always run a stone over the mating surfaces, its good practise.

Measure the crank hub & the flywheel hole with a dial caliper.
Then you will be sure there is a problem before contacting McLeod.

Cool, we will do that today. I know it has to be a tight fit so it stays centered so maybe that's just it

What part number do you have? The center hole determines if it is a 1pc seal or 2pc seal.

I'm not sure, I will have to ask him in the morning. I though all LT1 engines had the one piece seal?

all 93-97 LT's a 1pc seal. But it sounds as if you need the larger 2pc register.
What does the register measure VS the ID of the flywheel?
