Ok, I know theres lots of comotion about spec clutches. I run a stage 2 in myself and have had no issues. I love it. I recently installed a stage 2 along w/ matching spec billet flywheel and all new hydraulics in a 98 Z. 2 quarts of brake fluid later the pedal is high and hard, but the trans still wont go in gear. Talk to spec tech, and apparently there have been instances where the slave spacer isnt enough because the assembled Flywheel, disc, and psi plate height isnt as thick as it should be. So its gotta come back apart to verify the problem. They sounded like theyre willing to work with me. But Im still pissed. And so is my customer. Anyone else run into this?
