Quick question; are the STOCK aluminum alloy driveshafts the same exact length for A4s as M6s?? I don't even know how to ask search for this question, hence why I'm asking it here.

F body drive shafts are all the same length & spline count from 1984-2002 (I think someone once posted 82-83 were different). It doesnt matter if its auto or manual, V6 or V8, Aluminum or Steel, one piece or two.

although the 4th gen v6 cars had a 2piece unit. i think you'd need a special bracket to run one in another car.

not that anyone would...just saying

Thats true. When I pulled out my two piece to put in the aluminum 1 piece, I was wondering if the V6 torque arm would fit over my Moser 12 bolt and if the center bearing mounting bracket would interfere. It fit perfectectly. But true, if it were the otehr way around (not that anyone would want to put a 2 piece in) they would need a V6 torque arm.
