Default Problem with LS7 clutch

I put the LS7 kit in from SDPC about a year ago. When I try to shift as fast as possible going through the gears it is very notchy. I can no longer rip it into gear and It seems to be getting worse. I've been driving the SS a lot since my Silverado is in the body shop. I just did the mighty vac to it. That did not help.

Shortly after the install I had to put in a new master cylinder(stock).

Tranny also has been rebuilt.

Drill mod also has been done.

Any ideas anyone? Think it's time for a new master cylinder?

It had new fluid when I changed it last year. Put a little bit of new stuff in when I mighty vac'd it yesterday.

sounds like the problem i was having.
it started off like you describe then got so bad i could not get into gear
alot of time or it would grind third and fourth.
i replaced my master with an adjustable one and my troubles where gone.

Today starting out in first, I'm starting to get a little chatter. Mind you, there's about 5K on the clutch. I tried running through the gears with the car off. It shifts easily with either the clutch pressed in or left out.

I think the problem COULD be your shifter. What shifter do you have?

Your problem will definately be in the hydraulics. All these type problems usually are.
An adjustable master can do wonders as suggested.
I would start there IMO.

Wrencher: You're right about the problem usually being the hydraulics. In my case it was the hydraulic trouble followed by the shifter feel being notchy. I fixed the hydraulics
with an adjustable master and then traded my pro5.0 for a hurst because it is less notchy. Problem solved.
