what HP to replace LS6 clutch?
Planning some additional mods this winter. This will put me in the area of 460 to 480 HP Rear wheel and around 30 less of torque.
What is the best that the LS6 clutch can take. Occasional drag racing here but not so much dumping from a standstill (10 bolt).
If it is time to replace, what is a good substitute? I would be looking for stock reliability and decent feel. Not concerned about weight, there is something about the feel of a large rotational inertia setup having it's way with a car (C6 Z06??).

Your better off getting the LS7 Clutch/LS2 FW. I just installed that after going through the stocker and 2 pos SPEC S1 clutches. Its about 17 lbs heavier than the stock clutch but It holded like a SOB. And for the Price you cant beat it. I also invested in a Remote Bleeder to make it easier to bleed. My 00 T/A is a DD and I just say, Its absolutly smooth and very light. Feels better than stock.
