you need to rent a slide hammer along with that tool just finished doing the clutch on my t56 in my 91 camaro an hour ago. Now I have to find the post about bleeding the hydrolics on a LT1 T56. Its real notchy shifting and takes a bit of effort. Does get a little better if I pump the clutch though. I had to replace my clutch because the flange on the throwout bearing was ripped off from the fork. Go figure. It bent the heck out of it too. Along with the idiots who I bought the car from two years ago Most of the trans bolts were taken off by hand only a few on top were actually tight.

Check out this thread...
https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-transmission/524389-ls7-clutch-installed-weekend.html

I used the Autozone blind hole puller...OEM 27128 and it worked GREAT. Pics are in post 7 of the thread - here's a direct link for you with that info:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....89&postcount=7

For what its worth, the LS7 clutch is holding up fine over a year later but my hydraulics are going out...replacing the master this weekend and hoping its not my slave leaking.

Good luck!

When I went to autozone, they had two different pilot bearing puller sizes, ask them to pull a pilot bearing from their stock to make sure they puller you get will work before you leave the store.

Blind hole puller +1! I snapped the first removal tool, it took 5 minutes tops with the blind hole puller.
