lt1 t56, how can i put it behind my ls1???
i have a t56 out of an lt1 car i think a 97 camaro, will it work behind the 02 ls1 i just purchased, do i need a different bellhousing because of the different throwout bearing? any help would be great!!

Its easier to convert your LT1 unit to an LS1 style but there are ways to use it in the LT1 form as long as you have the bellhousing , flywheel and clutch setup .
As far as power it will hold , thats kind of difficult to give an exact number . Several factors come into play like the weight of the vehicle , type of clutch , rear end ratio , type of tire , style of driving , form of racing you plan to do with it and what kind of shape its in to begin with . On the average , I'd say 450-550 rwhp is pretty safe on a stock T56 as long as everything is setup right and there is a good driver behind the wheel .
